Each year, Northland Financial is proud to host its Junior Board of Directors program for senior students at Tappen and Steele-Dawson High Schools. The program is designed to educate these young adults on a variety of financial matters, including bank operations, bank deposit accounts, investment options, insurance, and credit opportunities.

The program runs throughout the school year with nearly a dozen early morning breakfast meetings. Typically, the program year ends with a field trip to Fargo to visit a number of business operations where the students have an opportunity to see and hear how other industries manage their businesses.

Ag Marketing Group Welcomes New Members

For much of the year, Northland Financial sponsors a bi-weekly ag commodity marketing meeting for all interested participants. Meeting attendees will generally have an opportunity to hear advice from a commodity broker and they will also have the opportunity to visit with other attendees regarding marketing successes and challenges.
